Belfast Trojans seeking players for new youth team

The Belfast Trojans American football team is inviting young players to come down to its first ever Youth Team Training Camp.

The five-times reigning national champions are inviting athletes aged between 15 and 18 to attend sessions at Belfast Harlequins Club from 2-3.30pm every Saturday during the summer.

"If you or someone you know has a desire to compete in a new and exciting sport, don’t hesitate to come down to Belfast Harlequins Club and our qualified coaches will teach you all the fundamentals to become part of the first Belfast Trojans Youth Team," the Trojans said.

"No experience necessary, just bring some water, a gum shield, and boots suitable for a grass pitch.

"We welcome athletes of all shapes and sizes whether you are big, strong, quick, slim, or anything in between, there is a position for you.

" Registration and consent forms will be provided to athletes to be signed by them (and parents) at the first session. If you have any questions send us a DM or email Youth Team Head Coach, Andy Black - youthteam@belfasttrojans.com."
