Belfast traffic delays: PSNI warns of disruption as number of events take place this weekend

Road users can expect traffic disruption in an area of South Belfast this weekend due to a number of events.

On Friday, October 29, and Saturday, October 30, music events will be taking place in Boucher Road Playing Fields.

Police have advised drivers that between 4pm and 11pm on both of these days, the Boucher Road will be reduced to one lane for city-bound traffic between Shane Retail Park and Boucher Crescent.

From 9pm to 11.30pm on both nights, the Boucher Road will be closed in both directions to traffic between the Stockman's Lane junction and Tates Avenue.

A spokesperson for the PSNI added: "These measures are being put in place to ensure the safety of those attending the events."

On Friday from 4pm, Dutch DJ Headhunterz will be taking to the stage at the playing fields, while Shorefest Halloween will make a return to the city on Saturday.
