Belfast theatre school needs singers, dancers and actors for The Grinch Christmas show

Are you a young person looking for the perfect opportunity to showcase your potential talent?

An upcoming Christmas show in Belfast could be your time to shine.

The Grinch Returns! is coming to Belvoir Studio Theatre this November, and the Northern Ireland School of Theatre and Music (NISMAT) is looking for a full cast of singers, dancers and actors to star in the show.

The show will run from November 25 to 27, and experience is not essential.

Anyone with a good dose of ambition and enthusiasm between the age of 8-21 is encouraged to apply.

Lead roles, supporting roles and ensemble roles are all being cast.

The show is a tribute to the legend of The Grinch as written by Dr Seuss but gives a "modern twist for local audiences" according to Louise Herron, creative director and founder of NISMAT.

"Our last show in 2019 was The Grinch and it was a huge hit so it is very apt," she added.

The Grinch tells the story of a cynical character who is on a mission to steal Christmas, but he soon has his heart changed by a young girl's festive spirit.
