A teenager is being treated in hospital for stab wounds following an incident in the early hours of this morning.
It is understood to have taken place at a house on Balfour Avenue, South Belfast around 3am.
Investigating officers have arrested two people.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are investigating a report of an incident in the Balfour Avenue area of south Belfast just before 3am this morning (Monday 8th March).
"A teenage male was taken to hospital for treatment of stab wounds. Two people have been arrested in relation to this incident.
"There are no further details at this time."
