Belfast's Odyssey Bowl announces that it's closing 'for good' after 11 years

The Odyssey Bowl has announced that they'll be shutting their doors for good, after 11 years in the SSE Arena.

The venue was well known to visitors of the Arena, offering a full bowling alley, an arcades section, air hockey tables, snooker and pool tables, as well as a fully licensed restaurant.

In a statement shared on their social media channels this afternoon, the Odyssey Bowl shared the news and thanked customers for all the "great craic" that had been had over the years.

They added that they were "saddened by the news" but paid tribute to the "Odyssey Bowl family" who had worked at the venue throughout the years.

Their full statement reads: "After 11 years, the Odyssey Bowl has closed its doors for good.

"We would like to thank all of our fantastic customers for the memories and the great craic over the years. Thank you for the support and making Odyssey Bowl what it was. It's been an absolute pleasure!!!

"Our team are very saddened by the news, but we have all made friends for life in our wee Odyssey Bowl family."
