A Belfast rooftop bar has been recognised as one of the best in Europe.
Babel on Ann Street was included on Big 7 Travel’s list of the 50 best European rooftop bars.
The travel site’s definitive guide to the best spots judged each bar based on online reviews from Google, TripAdvisor, as well as previous media coverage.
It also took into consideration input from their editorial team on factors including rooftop views, design, and drinks list, in order to come up with the best place to enjoy a drink with a view this summer.
Babel came 36th on the list, with the guide giving specific praise to the “panoramic views across Belfast” the rooftop bar and garden offers.
It continued: “Babel’s creative shrub cocktails use ingredients and garnishes inspired by its ‘living walls’, which are beautifully lush and contain over 300 plants. Watch bartenders pick fresh herbs straight from the walls to use in the drinks.”
As well as great views, Babel, which is located on the top floor of the Bullitt Hotel, is well known for its great range of cocktails and light bites.
Another rooftop bar from the island of Ireland made the list, with Sophie’s in Dublin clinching the 33rd spot.
