Belfast road closure and delays due to Northern Ireland Water 'emergency'

Traffic delays are expected in North Belfast due to a Northern Ireland Water 'emergency'.

The 'emergency' is on the Shore Road, with a lane closure heading country bound expected.

Norwood Parade will also be closed and motorists are asked to approach with caution.

The incident is expected to last for a few days.

Trafficwatch NI said: "Road users are advised that there is an NIW emergency on the Shore Road close to Seaview Stadium. There will be a lane closure heading country bound. Also Norwood Parade will also be closed and traffic will be diverted via Norwood Rd.

"Road users are advised that this incident will be on going for the next few days until it can be repaired.

"Please approach with caution as delays are expected especially at peak times."
