Belfast has been revealed as one of the most expensive nights out in the UK, according to new research.
The research, by jewellery retailer jewellerybox, looked at the top clubbing and student cities across the UK and considered factors such as the price of a round of drinks, the cost of a taxi ride, the price of nightclub entry, clothing costs for a night out, and average price for a double hotel room in the city.
Belfast ranked high on the list of cities, coming in at No. 10.
The list revealed that the average price of a round of four cocktails in Belfast is £40, the average price of a taxi into town is £10, and the average price of a summer dress from a chain store is £30.
These numbers see Belfast rank in the top 10 across the UK, up there with much larger cities such as London and Manchester.
The most affordable cities on the list include Stoke-On-Trent, Glasgow and Newcastle.
Commenting on their list, Jewllerybox said: "It’s no secret that party-essentials like drinks, an outfit and affordable jewellery can rack up a premium in some cities more than others, but which parts of the UK are the most budget-friendly?
"To help you choose the best destination for your next evening on the town, we investigated the price of a cute new dress, haircut, cocktail, club ticket, taxi ride and a hotel room for the night in UK cities and abroad."
