Belfast has been ranked as one of the most potty-mouthed cities in the UK, according to new research.
The NI city was ranked sixth in the table when it comes to cursing, with Scots revealed to be the worst offenders as Glasgow came top of the list.
And when it comes to our favourite swearword of choice in Belfast, sh*t came out on top with 16 uses per 1,000 comments, followed by f*ck which averages 13.
According to the research by Reboot Online, Belfast folk swear 56 times for every 1000 words online.
The second and third worst offenders in the UK were Liverpool and Edinburgh followed by London and Manchester ahead of Belfast.
At the bottom end of the table were Hulll, Newcastle and Bradford followed by Coventry at number 10.
Accounting for a whopping 40% of all swear words analysed is f*ck, and can be crowned the UK's favourite swear word.
Coming in second is sh*t, making up over one third (38%) of our online swearing. Interestingly, f*ck and sh*t make up 78% of the total swear words used across each UK city.
