Belfast PSNI investigating incident that left three people injured in house

Police are investigating an incident where three people were injured at a house in North Belfast.

The alleged incident occurred on Sunday and came after two men arrived at a house in Alliance Avenue in Ardoyne at around 6.30pm.

Two men and a woman were reportedly attacked.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Detectives are investigating the report of an incident at a house in the Alliance Avenue area of North Belfast on Sunday January 26 in which three people were injured.     

"It was reported that two males called to the house at around 6.30pm on Sunday evening and assaulted two men and a woman who were at the house at the time. All three sustained cuts and bruising as a result of the assault.

"If you witnessed this incident or have information that may assist the police investigation please contact detectives at Musgrave Police Station by dialling 101 and quoting police reference 1304 26/01/20.

"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
