Belfast Pride 2019: Parade route announced

It's going to be one of the biggest Pride events Belfast has ever seen.

And with applications from more than 180 groups to take part in the parade - up by over 40 since last year - organisers expect it to be a biggie.

Like last year, the route will start and finish at Custom House Square , just a stone's throw from Pride Village over at the Big Fish which will offer everything from food and drink to kids' entertainment.

Here's a map the guys at Pride have produced so you know just where you're going if you're planning to take part.

Starting out at Custom House Square, marchers will head down High Street, making a loop through the city centre along North Street, Royal Avenue, Donegall Place , Chichester Street and back up Victoria Street towards the Albert Clock.

The parade sets off at 1pm on Saturday August 3.

Be there, or be square!
