Belfast police seize £10K worth of cannabis in drug factory raid

After successfully applying for a search warrant, North Belfast Police raided a cannabis factory in Cliftonville on Friday evening (October 29).

Officers arrested a man on the premises and he has been remanded in custody pending further enquiries. Police have seized cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £10,000 and destroyed the Class B drug-making equipment.

Police Belfast North tweeted at 2.45am today: "Following a search under warrant, we have located and dismantled this cannabis growing operation in the Cliftonville area tonight.

"We estimate around £10,000 worth of drugs removed from our streets.

"1 make arrested and taken to custody for questioning. Tennent St Police."
