Belfast police investigating 'link' between morning burglaries in Newtownabbey

Police investigating a potential link between burglaries and attempted burglaries in Newtownabbey are now appealing to the public for help.

Two burglaries and two attempted burglaries took place in the Ballyhenry Road area on Tuesday morning, August 31, between 4am and 6.30am.

A number of items were taken during these incidents.

In a statement later the same day, police confirmed enquiries are continuing.

At this stage, they are investigating a potential link between the incidents.

Officers are now asking members of the public who may have witnessed anyone or any vehicles acting suspiciously in the area, or anyone who has information in relation to any of the incidents, to get in touch on 101, quoting reference 156 of 31/08/21.

A report can be submitted online using the non-emergency reporting form.
