Pizza Punks has been crowned the UK's best Italian restaurant.
The Glasgow-born venue opened its doors on Waring Street in the Cathedral Quarter in April 2018 and has built up a reputation for its wood-fired pizzas, unique toppings and distinctive drinks menu.
And last night, owners were awarded the 'Best Italian Restaurant' award at the Deliveroo Restaurant Awards in London's Shoreditch Town Hall out of a hefty 400 hopefuls.
Operations Manager, Louise McCabe accepted the award from former Pussycat Doll and West End star Ashley Robert.
She told Belfast Live: "We created Pizza Punks to give customers choice and flexibility. Our menu allows both Restaurant and delivery customers to create what they believe to be their perfect pizza from a choice of over 50 unlimited toppings.
"This coupled with unique topping created on-site, quality Italian produce and genuine warm and welcoming hospitality gives us something very special. Our 'Pizza Revolution' is only just beginning."
Speaking after the prize giving, Pizza Punks CEO and Founder Brad Steven said that the team are 'delighted.'
"To see Pizza Punks sitting proudly next to such well-established Restaurant chains really drives home what a small team of like-minded people can achieve when they share the same goal"
