Belfast NHS worker has bike stolen from City Hospital car park during shift

A NHS worker has had her bike stolen whilst on duty in Belfast City Hosptial.

Sinead Redmond had just finished her shift on Wednesday, April 1 only to discover that her bicycle had been stolen from the car park of the hospital.

Taking to social media to express her disappointment and appeal for information, Sinead said: "So disappointed. I’m a NHS worker and finished work yesterday to find that my bike had been stolen. It was taken from the Belfast City Hospital car park and had a security lock.

"Unfortunately, there was no CCTV footage and so I am posting here as my last chance to recover it. If you saw anything suspicious or have seen this bike please can you get in touch.

"This was my main mode of transport and exercise to work at this time."

Since posting her appeal, businesses and members of the public have kindly offered Sinead bikes so she can still continue to get to and from work.
