A Belfast man is hoping the NI public can get behind him in his quest to have his own design of Adidas trainers become a reality.
Daniel Gardiner has made it to the final ten in @sizeofficial create your own Adidas design, with his Belfast Shipyard inspired trainers.
The Dunmurry man is urging people from NI to support him ahead of voting closing on Monday, December 14.
He told Belfast Live: "My design is based on our famous shipyard H&W. The competition is about 'the lost ones' so I thought it would be fitting to create it about your almost forgotten heartbeat which is the shipyard. The colourway resembles Samson and Goliath."
Daniel was inspired by three generations of his family who all worked at the famous shipyard.
He added: "My late grandfather and my dad and his great granda all worked there so it was a perfect fit as they shared some great stories about this place in its hey day.
"I also wanted them to be a mark of respect to all the workers who fought so hard to keep the company afloat."
