A popular East Belfast hotel has been taken over by the company behind the city's five-star Merchant Hotel.
The Beannchor Group confirmed on Thursday that it had taken on operations of the Park Avenue Hotel.
In a statement the group said it would be reviewing all options for the 56-bedroom hotel and their "immediate objective will be to preserve employment".
In 2015, critically-acclaimed chef Marco Pierre White chose the hotel for his first steakhouse bar and grill in Northern Ireland.
A Beannchor spokesman said: "Beannchor Group has taken on operations of the Park Avenue Hotel. Over the coming weeks we will seek to review all options and future plans for the business and our immediate objective will be to preserve employment and continue to serve Park Avenue customers."
Beannchor operates the Merchant and Bullitt Hotels in Belfast as well as the popular Little Wing Pizzeria chain of restaurants.
