Belfast Giants fans show support to frontline workers in tribute video

Belfast Giants fans have been showing their support to the frontline workers who are fighting the battle against Covid-19.

The passionate supporters have added their contribution to the 'Real Heroes Project' that has started in the United States.

Giants fans have been covering up the name of their favourite player on their jersey and writing on the name of their frontline hero instead to show thanks.

The video was shared on Thursday morning, ahead of the weekly Clap for Carers.

The 'Real Heroes Project' in the USA has seen the likes of American footballer Drew Brees, wrestler John Cena and soccer star Nani join the campaign.
