Fire crews are tackling a blaze at scrub-land in Belfast’s docks area.
The gorse fire is at the nature reserve off the Dargan Road and is ongoing.
Four fire appliances are there and a Sky Watch drone is being used to assess the scale of the blaze.
A NIFRS spokesman said it is too early to say if the fire is deliberate, but warned that conditions in gorse areas are “like a tinderbox” and that members of the public should immediately call the Fire Service if they spot a fire.
He added they are working with Belfast City Council to “evaluate” the situation.
Later on Sunday evening it emerged that smoke from the fire was spreading to parts of North Belfast.
