Belfast cruiserweight Damien ‘Dee’ Sullivan insists he can't wait to get started in the professional ranks.
Former Ulster Elite champion Sullivan has made his intentions clear after signing up with MTK Global management company.
The 23-year-old won Ulster titles at both heavyweight and super-heavyweight and reached the Commonwealth Games quarter-finals on the Gold Coast last year.
But he believes the pro business will suit his style better.
“I chose MTK Global because they are doing class things with their boxers. It’s a big platform and it seems like they always put the boxers’ needs first," Sullivan said.

“It’s a really hard game without having to worry about all that sort of stuff and I know MTK Global are handling things really well.
“I’ll wear my heart on my sleeve. I’ll give my everything in there. I’m a warrior and fighting is all I’ve ever been good at so I’ll always come to fight.
“I feel I’m more suited for the professional ranks because with a few more rounds, I could’ve got the job done at the Commonwealth Games when I fought the eventual silver medalist.
“Belfast is a small place but it has a proud boxing history. Fighters like Michael Conlan, Carl Frampton, Sean McComb, Paddy Barnes and Steven Donnelly are gaining exposure all over the world.”
