Belfast creative communications agency expands with launch of new e-commerce site

Belfast-based communications agency, Rumour Mill Creative Communications is turning the traditional PR consultancy model on its head with the launch of a dynamic new e-commerce website.

Rumour Mill will offer a vast array of cost-effective solutions to content and digital marketing, plus training programmes and guides, that can support businesses bounce back.

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, businesses are increasingly moving online and seeking support to drive digital sales and promote their virtual offerings, whilst keeping a keen eye on the bottom line. A strong strategy for communicating in today’s market is made up of many different components. From social media to search engines, it can be difficult for a business to know where to focus attention and how to allocate budget.

Responding to this demand and to show upfront, transparent information on costings of marketing and PR services, Rumour Mill has invested in creating its brand new online hub.

Managing Director and the driving force behind Rumour Mill’s creative culture, Samantha Livingstone had a vision to tear up the traditional agency rule book.

Commenting on the launch, Samantha said: “Over the last 12 months, businesses have evolved, and consumer behaviour has changed.

"Many businesses have pivoted, reinvented and experimented with new ways to reach potential customers in a digital-first world.

"Innovation is at the heart of everything we do for our clients. Now, we’re applying that forward-thinking digital approach to our own business.”

Businesses can now browse and buy a range of competitively priced packages, spanning the agencies specialisms in content marketing, digital marketing, social media and public relations.

The development of this distinctive e-commerce platform is a first within the communications and marketing industry in Northern Ireland.

Samantha adds: “The Covid-19 pandemic demonstrated that service-led industries can be vulnerable. Digital, social and content services are in high demand but how we package and sell our services and expertise will be key to achieving our ambitious plans for growth.

“We believe our new e-commerce website will play a central role in expanding our geographical footprint, adding to our team and developing new revenue streams. This is a bold and brave move, but innovation is essential in a climate where businesses are increasingly cost-aware and need to understand the cost of services straight up.”
