Belfast City Half Marathon winners cross finish line as thousands take on race

These are the winners of the Belfast City Half Marathon 2019 .

Thousands took on the annual race on Sunday, September 22, braving the change in weather for the 13.1mile contest.

Gideon Kipsang Kimosop won the race for the third year in a row finishing in 1.06.58 beating last year’s time of 1.07.44.

In second place was Eoin Hughes in a time of 1.08.30 and closely followed by John Black in 1.09.12.

The fastest female runner was Anne Marie McGlynn with a time of 1.12.58, followed by Gladys Ganiel 1.17.26. In third place was Joanne McCandless in 1.19.50

The winner of the wheelchair race was Karol Doherty in 1.16.37.

The race started and finished in Ormeau Park as hundreds continue to cross the finish line. Congratulations to everyone who took part.
