It's going to be a gruelling 13.1 miles whatever the route, but the surroundings are important when taking on a challenge like this.
And this year's route for the Belfast City Half Marathon is out.
Here's where you'll be running:
Starting off at the Ormeau Embankment at 9am, the route takes in some of the city's best known areas including the Ravenhill Road , Albertbridge Road and Sydenham Bypass.
Runners then head towards the city centre and Cornmarket, Arthur Street before heading to Botanic Avenue and University Street and back to Ormeau Embankment before ending at the driveway to the Tennis Centre.
Around 5,000 runners are expected to take part.
