Belfast City Centre: Man in hospital after being attacked by group on Castle Street

A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital after being assaulted by multiple other men in Belfast City Centre.

It was around 9.50pm on Wednesday, July 7, when the attack took place.

The assault happened in the Castle Street area where man in his 20s was assaulted by a number of other men in the area, it was reported to police.

The victim was taken to hospital for his injuries following the incident.

Detectives are now appealing for information following the reported assault.

Detective Sergeant Wilson said: "Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have any information, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 2095 07/07/21."
