Belfast city centre fire battled by emergency crews

Emergency crews are at the scene of an incident in Belfast city centre.

Three fire appliances, with crew wearing breathing apparatus, are in attendance at the scene at Pottingers Entry.

The NIFRS were called at 4.22pm to a ground floor shop.

Two appliances from from Central Fire Station and one from Whitla Fire Station are in attendance.

A spokesperson for the NIFRS said: "Firefighters are dealing with a ground floor shop on fire. The incident is ongoing."
