Belfast city centre entry cordoned off by police after man's sudden death

An alley in Belfast city centre has been cordoned off by police following a sudden death.

Police cars have been placed at both entrances to Winecellar Entry and forensic officers have been pictured at the scene.

It is understood that a man died suddenly and that officers are now investigating.

The death, however, is not believed to be suspicious.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are in attendance at a sudden death of a man at Winecellar Entry in Belfast City Centre.

"Enquiries are being conducted to determine the cause of death, however, it is not believed to be suspicious at this time."
