Belfast city centre assault leaves victim with "serious injuries"

The PSNI is appealing for information over an assault in Belfast city centre that left a man with "serious injuries".

The attack happened on Bedford Street on Saturday November 30, between 9.30pm and 10pm.

Police have issued an appeal for any witnesses to come forward.

A spokesman said: "Police are appealing for information following an assault where the victim has sustained serious injuries.

"If you witnessed the assault or know of any information in relation to the assault please contact us on the non-emergency number of 101 and quote reference number 941 of 2/12/19."
