Belfast Christmas Market to return in November for first time since 2019

Belfast's Christmas Market will return to the heart of the city this year, it has been announced.

Posting on social media, the organisers of the annual market revealed it will return to Belfast City Hall on November 20 and run until December 23.

They added: "We cannot wait to see you all again."

It comes as the market wasn't able to take place last year in the interests of public health and safety as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Last year was the first time in 15 years that the market wasn't outside City Hall to mark the Christmas festivities.

After a year without the delights the market brings, whether it's a night at the beer tents or sampling foods from around the world, many of us will be thankful to be able to stop by this year.

The market has long been a highlight on the city's Christmas calendar, and it attracts thousands of visitors into the city each year.

Anyone interested in setting up a stall at this year's market can sign up by visiting https://www.marketplaceeurope.co.uk/ and heading to the traders area.
