Belfast buskers give NI newlyweds a first dance to remember in front of busy shoppers

It wasn't the first dance they had dreamed of when planning their wedding but it was just as special for one couple who wed in Belfast on Saturday.

The Appleyards decided having had their ceremony at Belfast City Hall it would be a missed opportunity not to enjoy their first dance as husband and wife in front of busy Christmas shoppers in the city.

The heartwarming moment, captured by Walking Tours Belfast has gone down a storm on Instagram as the pair enjoyed their first dance performed by local buskers Anna's Number.

Bride Grace Campbell who hails from Derry told Belfast Live they thought they would embrace the moment whilst walking to their reception.

"We didnt get a chance for a first dance because of all the new restrictions so thought we would take the chance to bust a move whilst we were walking from our wedding to our reception.

"The band played some Stevie Wonder which is one of our favourites so it just came together so nicely on our special day."

Grace's new husband Zakk hails from Huddersfield in Yorkshire but he has firm roots in NI as his mum is originally from Omagh, Co Tyrone.

The couple live together in North Belfast and celebrated their nuptials with a meal at Bullit Hotel.
