Belfast bin collection dates over Twelfth July holidays 2019

With the Twelfth of July holidays nearly here will be some changes to when bins are collected.

Belfast City Council have released the following information for local residents about changes to the bin collections over the bank holiday period this weekend.

If your bin or recycling box is due to be emptied on Friday 12 July, these collections will now be done on Sunday July 14 instead.

Purple recycling boxes will not be emptied on Friday July 12 and will instead be cleared on their next scheduled collection day - Friday July 26.

Many of the council's other facilities and sites will be closed over the Twelfth period including Friday July 12, Saturday July 13 and Monday July 15.

The council has advised people to check the opening and closing times of council facilities here before travelling.
