Belfast bin collection dates for Christmas 2020

We all have excess rubbish accumulated at home over Christmas, between all the packaging from Christmas presents to boxes and bags, the last thing you want to do is miss your bin collection date.

With the Christmas Day falling on Friday this year, some bin collections in Belfast will be different.

If your bin is usually collected on Friday, then you will have to leave it out on Sunday instead.

Here's the full schedule for this year:

Black waste bins

Monday 28 December As normal
Thursday 31 December, New Year's Eve As normal

Recycling bins and boxes

Recycling Centre Opening times

Belfast city council recycling centres will be closed on Christmas Day (Friday 25 December), Boxing Day (Saturday 26 December) and New Year’s Day (Friday 1 January).
