People pick up litter during a SpoGomi event in Symbol Promenade Park in Koto Ward, Tokyo, on Tuesday. Marking World Environment Day, about 180 people divided into teams competed to collect the most garbage within a limited time. The event was organized by the Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to show the Tokyo Games as being considerate of the environment.
