Were you at the 2025 edition of the FIM Endurance World Championship Suzuka 8 Hours? If you were, then you probably don't need me to tell you that Honda had some cool stuff on display. Yes, even before it went and won the actual headlining event for the fourth consecutive time in a row.
From the world-premiere show-run of its Pokemon bike, modeled to look like Koraidon, to some other special machines, Team Red was all about showing the assembled guests who attended the race weekend a good time. Thanks to its habit of dropping little teasers in the leadup to a big reveal, all eyes were wide open and ready to take in the CB1000F SE Concept.
WIthout further ado, here it is, in all its be-cowled glory. Please be aware that although Honda says it's done a few additional things to the SE concept above and beyond the regular CB1000F Concept, it so far hasn't specified exactly what those are.
So, while it also says that it's offering the CB1000F Concept in two different colors (which is a funny way to describe it if it is, in fact, just a 'concept'), the one in black with the color-matched cowl is not an SE, per Honda.

I mean, until we know for sure what else Honda has done to differentiate between the CB1000F and the SE besides the headlight cowl, I'm certainly not finding any fault with that cute little cowl in either color. Both colors look quite good to my eyes, and probably look even better in person. A naked bike with a little headlight cowl like this is extremely up my street, so that probably comes as no surprise.
In case it wasn't abundantly clear, I also think it's quite funny that Honda is still calling this a 'concept,' because for all intents and purposes, it sure looks like it's just about ready to roll off the production line. And it also seems likely that fans who like this sort of thing would absolutely eat it up like extremely fluffy Japanese souffle pancakes.
How much do you want to see the CB1000F SE Concept in the wild, or maybe ride one (or own one) yourself? Feel free to be a Honda nerd with me in the comments.
