Ant and Dec stunned fans by taking them on a behind the scenes tour of the Saturday Night Takeaway studio minutes before cameras rolled on the live show.
And millions of viewers settling down to watch Saturday's episode will have had no idea it even happened as the lads did it on their Instagram account, going live just 10 minutes before Takeaway began and ending right as it went on air.
The latest instalment of the new series saw Ant and Dec reunite with their SMTV co-host Cat Deeley, firstly for an Undercover prank and then for the return of Chums.
The show also saw them surprise a Newcastle nana with a holiday on her 100th birthday, take part in another Ant v Dec challenge and left startled when the Win The Ads winner looked like she might reveal a bit too much!
But, before all of that, the Geordie duo took their Insta fans on a backstage walk around, with their live video tour seeing them walk through the corridor of dressing rooms as Cat shouted at them from the back of the shot, before they then gave those watching a glimpse at the green room, production office and gallery, as the Takeaway team looked on at the monitors.
The tour also saw Ant mischievously threaten to pull a wire out of a backstage rig as Dec urged him not to.
As the tour went on, Ant and Dec took their phone onto the studio floor to see Takeaway warm up man Andy talking to this weekend's virtual audience, with Dec saying: "Normally, with any other series we'd have a full audience here going mad but not this year."
Panning the camera to the ceiling, Ant joked: "Look at all those lights up there! Imagine if one of them fell on your head during the show!"
The tour then went back to areas viewers don't see on camera, to the 'prompt area', where Ant and Dec go during commercial breaks to make sure they know what they're going in the next part.
They also showed those watching just how high up the Guest Announcer's voice over booth is as they shouted hello to this week's guest Romesh Ranganathan.
The 10 minute tour ended as the show's started with Romesh introducing Ant and Dec on camera as they then gave a final wave and strode out of shot to go down the studio steps and on with the show.
