Behind Neil and Katya Jones split - disconnected for weeks and far from 'the best of friends'

They announced their marriage split in a gushing statement where they promised to love each other forever.

But Katya and Neil Jones are far from the loving exes, according to our body language expert.

Judi James looked at the last pictures of the pair taken together on July 30 outside rehearsals for Strictly Come Dancing.

Katya wrote in their split statement: "We wish one another every happiness and we will remain the best of friends."

These pictures paint a very different picture from the dancing pair - who had been together for eleven years.

Judi writes : After the ‘kiss-gate’ scandal with Seann Walsh Neil and Katya put on a very emphatic (although never totally convincing) display of togetherness for the cameras, but these more recent poses seem to show them in a much less synchronized, loving-looking mode.

Neil appears over-immersed in his phone here, using and exaggerated frown as he stares at the screen while ignoring his wife.

Katya has lost her photogenic smile that she used to endorse her ‘business as usual’ messages about their relationship and instead her facial expression seems to have pulled into a scowl as she waits.

Her face is scrunched up here with the nose wrinkled and her mouth has fallen open in what appears to be an expression of disapproval or disconnect.
