New before and after pictures have shown the stunning transformation of a historic south Liverpool church into luxury apartments with a long list of original features.
Our Lady of Good Help church and presbytery has stood on Chestnut Grove in Wavertree for 136 years.
It is understood George Harrison was baptised there in 1943, while his parents Louise and Harold also married there. The building had been empty for a decade ahead of its transformation into nine high-end apartments known as Grove Manor.

The project was led by Intuita Property Group - on behalf of their client Comfort Housing Development Ltd - with the support of a £1.1m funding package from specialist lender Together.
New photos from contractor EW Developments has shown the extent of the transformation.
Among the original features retained are jaw-dropping stained glass windows in a number of units, as well as confession booths being used as windows, original clovers being utilised as lighting and original brickwork forming key parts of bedrooms and living areas.

James Winters, who co-owns EW Developments with Rob Edwards, said: "We are proud of our work at Chestnut Grove and believe it showcases the adaptability of EW Developments.
"We understood we had a special and historic building at Chestnut Grove filled with memories. I am glad that our work will allow new memories to be made in an incredible, modern and sophisticated setting."

Speaking to the ECHO last week, Intuita's Tom King said the church "holds a very special place in the hearts of the local community".
He added. "It’s been a privilege to oversee the conversion of such a fantastic building whilst maintaining so many original features. We were passionate about converting the church to provide new accommodation for families and residents, restoring and retaining original features throughout.
"A huge amount of care and consideration has gone into every aspect of this project, and I feel this really shows in the finish."
