Residents have been left confused and shocked after police sealed off their street and wrapped it in police cordon.
People living in Longroyd Crescent, Beeston, have no idea why there street has been turned into a crime scene with police taping off the residential street on Thursday night.
Forensics teams have been seen photographing the street with officers focusing their attentions on a house in the street and a car parked outside.
Cones have been put down as markers around the car and the street has been taped off at either end leaving residents trapped in the cordon.

She, like others, has been questioning the nature of the police investigation and she is worried about what has happened on her doorstep.

"My neighbour said she'd wondered if there had been a murder but surely if there had been police would have come round questioning people and nobody has."
Another woman who lives nearby, but did not wish to be named, told LeedsLive: “I’m working from home and I’ve just come out to get some lunch - I’m a bit shocked to be honest.
“There were two police cars here last night and I just thought ‘Oh it’s Beeston.’
"But now there are a lot more here. I have no idea what’s happened.”
