A Beeston resident confronted a man during an attempted burglary.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses following the incident in Dovecote Lane on April 8, 2019.
The information, which has just been released by the force, says the attempted burglary happened between 10.25pm and 10.30pm.
No entry was gained into a house.
Officers would like to speak to the man pictured in connection with the incident. It is hoped that he may be able to help with the ongoing investigation.
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police, said: "If you have any information please call 101, quoting incident number 979 of April 8. 2019."
