A pub company is promising a free pint to customers - as long as they serenade bar staff with a chorus of Jingle Bells.
To kick off the festive period, Greene King Local Pubs and Ice Breaker Pale Ale have teamed up to offer customers the chance to earn themselves a complimentary beer - but only if they’re willing to sing the festive favourite at the bar.
The offer is available across 408 Greene King Local sites for Thursday, December 2, only. Beer fans can secure a pint of Ice Breaker - created by Greene King’s apprentice brewers - on the house.
However, they will need to deliver a rendition of their favourite festive song to qualify.
Groups of friends can even recreate their favourite festive hits together and all win a free pint.
Andrew Gallagher, marketing director at Greene King Local Pubs, said: “Greene King Locals are more than just bricks and mortar – they’re a home away from home that bring people together, so we couldn’t think of a better way to kick off this year’s festivities than a good old Christmas carol and a pint.
“Many of our regulars fancy themselves as singers after a few – now we’ll put their skills to the test and give them a chance to win a free pint to quench their thirst while they’re at it.”
