Rob Gronkowski's possible switch to WWE has excited some - but not, it seems, Becky Lynch.
After announcing his NFL retirement the odds have shortened for him to take up a new life in the ring .
The five-time Pro Bowler, 29, announced his New England Patriots exit on Sunday, after playing a key role in their latest Super Bowl success this year.
He is a life-long WWE fan and the rumour mill is churning with speculation Gronkowski is set for a big career change.
The 29-year-old appeared alongside WWE stars the following evening at an annual Military Awards dinner and posed for a picture with stars including Braun Strowman.

But Irish wrestler Lynch, 32, told TMZ that she can't back the potential move.
“Wouldn’t that be nice, to never have done anything in wrestling and just go into Wrestlemania? I would love that,” she said.
“Some of us almost get fired and have to work our way and scratch and claw, and then we come to the main event, other people are like here you go, here's your debut match at Wrestlemania. See you at Wrestlemania!"
Legend Triple H has very different views.
“We’ve met a few times, and he’s actually come down to the Performance Center and even done stuff with us at WrestleMania,” he said.

“He’s a great guy, an incredible player, and it’s hard not to root for him. Gronk has mentioned WWE before, that he loves it and said had so much fun doing it.
“I don’t know if it’s something he’d be seriously interested in, but that’s how the conversation started with Ronda Rousey, too.
"Certainly the door is open for him at WWE.”
Gronk has previously appeared in WWE, making his presence felt at WrestleMania 33.
Then he stepped into the squared circle to help Mojo Rawley - a long-time friend - win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
