Becky Lynch recalls 'unbelievable' homecoming to Dublin during WWE show in 3Arena in May

WWE's Baldoyle superstar Becky Lynch has said that her memorable homecoming at the 3 Arena earlier this year was 'unbelievable'.

The Raw Women's Champion, who calls herself 'The Man', brought her two titles back home at WWE Dublin, and was greeted by a rapturous reception by the near-capacity crowd.

And speaking to Dublin Live, she said: "It was incredible, I said that I left home to find out who I was and I came back to remember who I am.

"It was unbelievable, I left home being an absolute nobody, the first time I came back over with WWE I didn't even have my own entrance music.

"Then I came back out there and had both my titles, it was absolutely incredible and I was so happy with that homecoming."

She admitted that her 'conservative' mammy is not overly fond of her brash persona, but is very happy for her success.

"It probably wouldn't be my mom's favourite thing in the world," the Irish star admitted. "She'd be a more conservative lady.

"But she sees how well it's worked for me, she knows that I know what I'm doing and she sees where it has gotten me and that I'm out there changing the game and she's all about that.

"My dad wouldn't have a clue, he's known that I've been a mouth from the minute I could talk and he encourages it, but he wouldn't keep tabs on my social media and me being mouthy."
