Odell Beckham Jr. on his time with Giants: ‘Money doesn’t bring happiness’

Odell Beckham Jr. popped onto Twitter on Monday night for one of his occasional interactive bouts with fans. And the new Browns receiver popped off on several Giants fans who came at him with some hate.

Beckham kicked it off by saying he was “having one of the best days of my life” after receiving some great news. He did not elaborate on that but instead invited “alllll the haters out there” to come at him. And that they did …

In a series of interactions and responses, Beckham indicated he’s very happy to be in Cleveland as a member of a team focused on winning. He did not believe that to be the case with his former team, the New York Giants:

As for the controversy about him not traveling with the team while sidelined with an injury last season, Beckham claims that was a coaching decision.

Beckham then indirectly responded to Giants GM Dave Gettleman and addressed the circumstances behind his trade and his unhappiness despite a massive contract extension he signed last year.

It sure seems like the change of scenery is a breath of fresh air for Beckham. He clearly was done with what he felt was a culture of losing in New York and sees a very different story in Cleveland with the Browns.
