Salons are being put on high alert after claims two men are attempting to rob beauty premises’ across Ayr and Prestwick.
Studio Mmak on Prestwick’s Ayr Road allegedly fell victim on Monday forcing them to lock their doors as they feared for their safety.
Salon employees were left shaken up but bravely soldiered on for their clients.
They warned others to remain vigilant and keep an eye out.
An employee said: “All other salons in the Prestwick area please watch out.
“One comes in with a paper book and other one distracts you.”
HMC Makeup Studios in Ayr were also targeted describing the experience as “horrible”.
An online post said: “We’ve just had a horrible experience with two men who have robbing salons throughout Ayr and Prestwick.
“Please be careful of these men and if anyone happens to see them today please let us know.”
