Beauty fans hail M&S' 'luxurious' £22.50 cream as a 'face lift in a bottle'

A premium anti-ageing night cream from Marks and Spencer is receiving glowing reviews from shoppers - with one saying it is better than a high-end version.

The retailer's popular Sleep & Replenish Ultimate Sleep Cream (50ml), priced at £22.50, has caught the attention of beauty fans for its "rich" and "luxurious" formula. Previously know as Absolute Ultimate Sleep Cream, the retailer has relaunched the product, updating the look but sticking with the same formula, reports ChronicleLive.

Described by M&S as "eight hours of sleep in a jar", the skincare hero has been formulated to work in harmony with your body's natural circadian rhythm to tackle dryness, dullness and deep wrinkles overnight.

Infused with ingredients that include Olea Vitae and Matrixyl 3000, it is said to smooth wrinkles and improve tone and elasticity, while skin is said to feel nourished and rejuvinated within just one use.

In fact, the results of the sleep cream are so good that one shopper has said they can't tell the difference between M&S' £22.50 cream and Clarins Day Cream - which retails at up to £80 on the Boots website.

With an impressive 4.8 out of 5 star rating on the M&S website, the Sleep & Replenish Ultimate Sleep Cream has attracted praise from fans who say that it leaves them "fresh-faced" the next morning.

One glowing review read: "Once you’ve used this luxurious night cream you won’t want another. It’s similar to a very expensive brand which costs £100 per pot which few can afford. The M&S Formula night cream is perfect for mature skins."

A second praised: "Just like Clarins but £50 cheaper! I heard this was a fantastic cream so I use the night cream as a day cream and honestly can't tell the difference between Clarins day cream at £78 which I've used all my life. The money I could have saved!"

While a third exclaimed: "This is a product that feels rich and luxurious but also works. I can go to bed looking a complete wreck and wake up looking quite fresh-faced. I love it."

And a fourth happy shopper wrote: "AMAZING!! I feel like I have had a face lift after two nights’ use! Smells delicious, thick and velvety, I can see a difference in fine lines and imperfections after one use, absolutely fantastic cream, will definitely be buying more!!"

The Sleep & Replenish Ultimate Sleep Cream costs just £22.50 and can be purchased from the Marks and Spencer website.
