Beauty expert shares top tip on how you should be applying moisturiser

Beauty expert Scott McGlynn has addressed the correct way you should apply moisturiser to your face and it seems many people have been doing it wrong.

Scott McGlynn is best known for creating and hosting his hit Instagram series "Celebrity Skin Talk" launched in 2020, talking about skincare, beauty disasters, careers and fun chit chat with celebrities. Some of the celebrities include the cast of Selling Sunset, Keisha Buchanan from the Sugababes, Nadine Coyle and many more.

McGlynn, who currently has an Instagram following of 262k, posted a video on Instagram explaining and showing people the correct way to apply face moisturiser. He captioned the video: “Let’s address this! I’ve seen tons of videos online of people applying moisturiser the wrong way. Here’s how you do it!”

“How many times have I seen people rub the moisturiser all in the palms of their hands and then apply it? Guys, the palms are going to soak up that moisturiser and you’re not going to apply hardly any to your face.”

He finishes the video emphasising: “It's not a hand cream, it's a face moisturiser. You are welcome.”

Many shocked viewers rushed to comment on this. One person said: “I feel attacked!” While a second added: “I always wanted to know. thanks for this gonna apply it the correct way now [love heart emoji]”.

A third said: “Love it! It’s the best tip. That’s fantastic thank you for sharing.”
