Floral tributes were left on the doorstep of a house where a woman was found dead.
Police and paramedics were called to Brook Hey Drive in Northwood, Kirkby, on Saturday to reports that a 38-year-old woman had died. Detectives remained at the scene on Sunday as they worked to establish what happened and how she died.
The investigation is said to be in its early stages and police are asking anyone with information to contact them. Bouquets of flowers and handwritten messages were laid on the doorstep of a house today as tributes to the woman flooded in from ECHO readers on social media.

Detective Inspector Alyson Keenan said: “It is with great sadness that we confirm that a 38-year-old woman was found dead at a property on Brook Hey Drive. We are in the very early stages of the investigation as we seek to establish what has taken place and how she died.
“We urge anyone who may have seen or know something that might help with the investigation to please contact us.”
