Exciting footage has been captured of dolphins swimming alongside a popular Gower coast guided boat tour. The pod of dolphins took interest in the 'Sea Serpent', a boat tour from Gower Coast Adventures.
The tour is no stranger to encountering wildlife on excursions between Oxwich Bay and Worm's Head, with the 'Gower Big Three' of harbour porpoises, common dolphins and grey seals frequently sighted.
The footage amazed onlookers with guests promising they would be back, it followed a "busy half term" period with sightings of dolphins being a regular part of their tour but not always guaranteed. You can get more Swansea news and other story updates by subscribing to our newsletters here.

Despite not making wildlife sightings a guarantee on the tour, footage has showcased how interactive dolphins are around Gower Coast Adventures, swimming alongside the boat and surprising guests.
Dave Tonge, skipper and director of the company, said: "We've had plenty of sightings of dolphins and porpoise over the weeks. They are incredibly playful and social animals and we report all our sightings to Sea Watch Foundation to help aid research."
The particularly busy spell in dolphin sightings was also marked by a rare sighting, one which has not been seen in the tour's 19 years of operation. You can read more stories about Gower here.
An earlier tour spotted a stunning white porpoise in the distance off Port Eynon point, a harbour porpoise with leucism causing it to have an 'albino' appearance, the sighting had been confirmed by the Sea Watch Foundation who monitor and aim to conserve whales, dolphins and porpoises in the seas around Britain and Ireland.

It is understood that only about 15 have been spotted in the past 100 years making this sighting hugely significant.
"It was the first time I had ever seen anything like it, it was an amazing sight and it was fantastic to see off our coasts. There have only been 15 sightings ever and to see it in person was remarkable," said Dave.
