A Cork couple are selling their stunning seaside house - for just €23 a ticket in a raffle.
Anne-Marie and Jason Flanagan own what they describe as a 'dream' house in Whitegate.
But the pandemic has helped them make the decision to sell it.
However, instead of going through the 'traditional' ways of estate agents and auctioneers, they're going for a different route - offering it in a massive raffle.
The house has:
- Three bedrooms
- Three bathrooms (including a master ensuite)
- A sitting room with a wood stove
- A kitchen/breakfast room with a separate utility
- A newly built deck
- Sublime panoramic views of Whitegate Bay
And that's just indoors - homeowner Anne-Marie says there's even more in the area.
"The house is in a tranquil estate with only five houses built, you're only a few minutes walk to lovely bars & shops and a short drive to blue flag beaches. There are tennis clubs, water sports, a rowing club and a number of GAA clubs on your doorstep.
As for why Anne-Marie and her husband have made the decision?
She says: "As we are living in unusual times we have decided to sell our dream home but using an unconventional method....a draw! Our home has been full of love and forever lasting memories but for us it is time to move on with our little family and make someone else's dream come through.
