'Beautiful thing' about Manchester United form according to Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba has identified the 'beautiful thing' about Manchester United's recent performances as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side maintain their push for Champions League football.

United named an unchanged starting line-up for the fourth game in a row on Thursday against Aston Villa, where they have an opportunity to open up a six-point lead over sixth-placed Wolves.

A fifth-placed finish could be enough to qualify for the Champions League next season if Manchester City's UEFA ban is upheld and United are in the driving seat.

Victory against Villa would also see United pull just a single point behind Leicester City, with a top-three finish still on the cards.

Pogba, who has excelled in his midfield partnership with Bruno Fernandes since the Premier League's restart, believes the performances across the board have been excellent.

“We’ve been playing great football, we’ve been scoring great goals, we’ve been winning, that’s the most important thing," he told Sky Sports.

"Everyone has been doing their job. We’ve been playing well, even the strikers have been defending, pressing, and that’s the beautiful thing I see from behind. We need to keep this up and keep scoring goals and playing well.”
