A hotel on the Isle of Islay is seeking staff for the summer, and is offering to provide accommodation for the successful applicants.
The Machrie Hotel & Golf Links, which is based on the island off the west coast of Scotland, is recruiting two Housekeeping Assistants, two General Assistants, an Experienced Food Server, and a Commis Chef.
The positions are all full time, and staff are offered accommodation located either on-site or local to the hotel.

Salaries start at of £10 an hour, increasing to £10.30 after training is completed, while the hotel also operates a seasonal team loyalty bonus scheme and a share of guest gratuities.
Benefits include a Team Loyalty Recognition Incentive Scheme worth up to £2,000, a 50% discount on Restaurant food, use of the hotel gym, and discounted membership of the Islay Golf Club.
The historic golf links has been ranked in the top 20 courses in Scotland, while the hotel itself has been shortlisted for the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2022.
For those who would be moving to the island to work, the hotel asks for "a nominal accommodation contribution of £52.85 per week".
All staff are provided with their own bedroom but share communal facilities, mostly with one other person.
The job listing states: "When you’re not working there is much to enjoy such as walking, hiking, sea kayaking, cycling, bird watching, investigating the history of Islay, wildlife sea tours, whisky distillery visits or indeed making the most of the hotel golf facilities and the hotel’s 7 miles of sandy beach.
